How to Join

To become a member of this ancient and honorable Fraternity, a man must apply of his own free will and accord and with an open heart.  Invitations are not issued to prospective members, nor are members solicited.  Membership is for men, 18 years of age or older, who meet the qualifications and standards of character and reputation, who are of good moral character, and who believe in the existence of a supreme being.

Having made the effort of finding this page on your own, you have already taken the first step to becoming a Mason — starting what could be a fascinating life-long journey into the most ancient Fraternity in existence.  Your journey starts right here.  By following the steps below and sending an email to our Lodge Secretary, letting us know of your intention to join or explore the possibility of doing so, you will do the equivalent of knocking on our door on your free will – a key requirement in Freemasonry.

Upon receiving your email, you will be entered into our visitors list, and will be informed about our upcoming activities. We will never sell, share or use your email for any other purpose.   You will be invited to attend a pre-meeting dinner we typically have at 6:30 pm on the 3rd Monday of each month, if you so wish.  You will be greeted at the door, introduced to the members and other visitors present and will be welcome to meet other members and ask openly any questions you may have.  Although you may not be able to take part in all the activities of the evening until you become a Master Mason, your presence is your and our best opportunity to get to know each other.

You can also view our latest news in this website and check our Lodge Calendar for upcoming events.   Once we are familiar with each other, and when you feel you are ready to proceed with your experience in Freemasonry and our Lodge, you can fill-out a petition, which must be endorsed by two Master Masons in good standing.  After approval by the members of our Lodge, you will be accepted for membership and your journey can begin.  There is no specific time frame for you to accomplish any of the steps in Freemasonry, including your petition, nor will there ever be any pressure applied on you to do so.

If you are interested in joining, ask a friend who is a Mason on what to do next.  If you don’t know any Masons personally, we suggest you to stop by the lodge and introduce yourself.  We have meetings every 3rd Monday at 7:30 PM.  Feel free to drop by before the meeting for dinner or coffee.

Any man who becomes a Mason is taught a pattern for living – reverence, morality, kindness, honesty, dependability, and compassion.  He must be prepared to honor his country, uphold its laws, and respect those in authority.  He must be prepared to maintain honorable relations with others and be willing to share in Masonic activities.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Lodge Secretary.
